In this section you will find all the old news about the website, which should give you some sort of idea about what has been going on during the creation of the site. I have decided to put it in reverse order so the most recent news will appear first.

1st April - Exclusive!!

The Miracle Express has scored yet another coup!. I am proud to announce that we are the first Queen site to put an Mp3 from Rogers Taylors current tour which is still in progress!! The file is Believe in Yourself, and it is taken from his new album Electric Fire. The track is from the concert in Glasgow,Scotland on 23rd March 1999. Hurry and download it. And enjoy!! Thanks to Steve Hoggan for helping me out with this song. Please visit his site by clicking here!

5th March

Another exclusive for The Miracle Express!! I have made a real Audio file of the cover version of Your'e My Best Friend by The Supernaturals. The track features on the B Side to their single Everest. And in my opinion it is great. The version of Your My best friend melds into the whole single perfectly and If I did not know it was a queen song I would not guess it was the same song. So hurry along and downlaod this exclusive in the files section!

21st January

The new look site in finally unleashed!! It has taken many long hours, not only in front of the computer, but also in negotiating servers to house the archive sections, and various files that are available for you to download. While the archive section, especially the Mp3 section, looks a little sparse, I promise that it will be filled up regularly. I hope to have a very large selection of Mp3's for you to download at your pleasure. Again, if you have any requests please feel free to mail them to me, but keep in mind that I only upload large files to the site on Saturdays, and have now adopted a policy of trying not to upload album tracks. If an album track is requested I will try and find either a live, extended or a rare version instead. Failing that I will upload the album version. Any comments or improvements you would like to make, please let me know and I will do them as soon as possible

21st October

I have added two more Mp3's as requested. They are A Winters Tale and I want to Break Free, both available in the Archive Section

29th September

I have decided to instal Linux, a freely distributed operating system, and the installation went fine, until I rebooted into windows, and found out that I had been confused about which drive that I installed it to. It turned out that I lost 90% of my valuable files, such as back up's games and most importantly all my queen stuff. All I have left is my mp3's and the HTML files for this site. So therefore The File of the Week section has been changed to File of the Month. This Month it is the Mp3 version of Thank God It's Christmas which is a wonderful song. I am currently in the process of trying to find all my old files again, but it will be a slow and lengthy process. Anyway, on with the show!

18th September 1998

I have completely revamped the archive section, by making separate pages for the different file grouping, such as Mp3, Real Audio and Video files. I have also added lots of new files, such as Princes of the universe Mp3, as well about 5 real audio tracks, including some rare B-sides like Thank God it's Christmas, and a dozen red roses for my darling. Over the next few days I will be adding lots more not so well known Mp3's for you to enjoy. But again, if you want something you cannot find, let me know and I will do my best to get it for you

9th September 1998

As some of you may know that although I am Irish, I live and study in Dundee,Scotland. And there is a Queen Tribute Band called Magic playing here on Friday 11th September at 8pm and I picked up my tickets for it today!! woohoo!! So I am really looking forward to it. I was only 15 when Freddie died and I never got to see the Master live. And so this will have to be a substitute. For those that this would interest I have scanned the flyer for the event and if you click on the images below it will enlarge them so you can read all the details!! I will of course post a page telling you all about it in full glorious Technicolor, I may even take a camera to take some snaps of them at work!! If you read the reverse of the flyer some people highly recommend them like Jacky Smith, Head of the Fan club, and Jim Jenkins, co author of "As It Began!" the official biography of Queen. So hopefully it will be a very good night! I'll keep you posted!

3rd September

I added Stone Cold Crazy mp3 on request! Hope the person that requested it and everyone else enjoys it!!

31st August

Over the nest few weeks I will be making some changes to this site. The first change is already in place. And that is....drum roll please.. The Miracle Express Mailing list! If you subscribe to this you will receive a newsletter every so often to let you know what is going on with The Miracle Express and I will also try and throw in some news about queen and its members. I will also try and add some quotes, stories, memories of the band members about their life in queen. So it should be a good read hopefully. I have not said exactly how often it will be published. This depends on how busy I am and how much time I have to spend on it. Also how much material I can dig up. If anyone would like to contribute to the Mailing list please mail me and I would happily include any material they have.

26th August

I have added two new Mp3's on request. They are the Live at Wembley 86 version of Bohemian Rhapsody and Killer Queen.

24th August

Hello!!! I am back from my hols and had a brilliant time with plenty of drink and lots of craic. I was also able to attend the #ireland2 <Dal-Net> IRC party meeting in Belfast which was a blast, and when I was on a day out I went to a CD and Record Fair and managed to pick up an original 7" Single of Flash (1980) which I was extremely pleased about. I also got The 7" of Too Much Love will Kill you by Brian May. ANYWAY I am now back and will be updating my page and answering all the email's as soon as possible so bear with me.

6th August

I am going away for a holiday and will be back on the 24th August, so this page will not be updated until then, so I reply to your emails and update the page when I get back!

30th July

The Lyrics are FINALLY here, they are fully working. I have linked to Queen-The Complete Words and all seems to be working fine. If anyone finds any problems please mail me and let me know, so I can fix them.

23rd July

Well a few new changes have occurred. I have finally got my files sorted. I have new Photo Gallery with loads of pictures of the band, along with some live shots. The lyrics which is still a pain, is on its way. The get around typing and formatting the lyrics which would be over 300 pages. I have agreed to link onto "Queen-The Complete Words" lyric pages which has the lyrics to all official queen songs, along with many B-sides as well as some rare non album songs.

17th July

I am in the process of getting the lyrics sorted out, and hopefully they should be operational in the next few days. However I have added a comprehensive biography and also a discography of singles, albums and video's as well as discographies for each member of the band. These can be found in the INFO section.

16th July

I have added Another One Bites The Dust, Flash and Love of My Life MP3's. They are on a US server and have been zipped, they may not be there long so hurry up!!

12th July

Ok I am working on the lyrics and I promise they will be here soon. I have also added Somebody to Love MP3 for your listening pleasure!!!

7th July

I have made some major revisions to the site. Firstly, the archive section has been updated and I have added lots more pictures, some MP3's, some Real Audio files of rare songs and also some Movies in AVI and VIVO format.

Also I would like to thank Jacky Smith of The Official Queen Fan Club for allowing to me to use some of their material to advance my site. Thanks Jacky!!

6th July

Ok the chat button should now be working Ok, therefore I have taken the link out from below, if you experience any problems please mail me and let me know so I can rectify things.

5th July 1998
Currently, I know that the chat button does not work, although there is a link to it below, so you can use that :). Also I have not gotten around to uploading any pictures, although I do plan to have a few pictures in the near future. I also plan to have a small selection of files, including wav's, mp3's and Vivo files of queen stuff, but as web space is limited, I might have to rotate what files I have on-line.

The Lyric section at the minute has not been finished, although you can get to the main page that shows what albums will be listed, the actual lyrics of each album will come online shortly, again as time allows :)
